Some of you commented that this year blossoms were mostly wiped out by the recent blizzard. Too bad. To cheer you up here are a few more photos from years past, this time from just three years ago. Not as many people this time.

Cherry Blossoms
Took these back in 2013. I hear they are blooming now in DC, so even I’m not anywhere near at the moment, this is how it was back four years ago. On a nice warm day it attracts large crowds of people. A few of them ended up on my camera.
Pink Cherries
I’ve been trying to compile some photos from Cherry Blossoms festival I took last week and made a short movie for this Monday, but that didn’t happen, so instead the DC Short time-lapse is back today, but it follows but the Cherry Blossoms photo from last week. As for the video, I’ll try to get it ready for next Monday.

Just About
DC Cherry Blossoms are just around the corner, it should be in full bloom two weeks from now, March 26 to March 30. I took this photo last year on March 20th and plan to post maybe one or two from the last year, not sure if I’ll be able to make to Tidal Basin this year, I’ll try. Maybe you can too and we bump into each other not knowing it, as thousands of other visitors mingle around us.

Web is probably full with similar images from last week cherry bloom at DC Tidal Basin. Here is one more from me. I took this on the same night as the “Photo Mania” photos. As I was taking this one, there were dozens and dozens of people all over around me. I had to wait for about five minutes till this specific view was available for me to step in and snap a few shots. It was very popular spot.
