Spring seems to be about the corner, we had some nice warm days here in North Carolina, which means I had to do some yard work and started doing spring landscaping cleanup. Fun times.
This photo was taken nowhere near North Carolina. Last year we took Spring break in New Mexico and drove south the White Sands National monument. To get there we had to go through the Valley of Fire, large valley full of black lava, from not sure how many tens of thousands of years ago volcanic activities. In the cracks of that lava there were many cactuses, in some nice bloom. I never saw them blooming in the wild, cool sight for sure.
