The north east side of the Jekyll Island is the home to the beach I have never seen anywhere else. Full of the old skeleton trees. Laying and standing there, and in the right light looking really spooky. Like, the earth days came to an end. Once big and strong, all they remind about some prior glory, now getting hit by the ocean waves to oblivion.

Friday Mystery Photo
Well, our summer vacation is coming to an end. Today we are driving back to the Salt Lake City and flying back to the east coast. It was fun two weeks and hopefully I’ll be able to share some of the memories via a few photos with you folks as well. It is all coming in the following days, weeks and months.
As of today’s photo, since it is Friday, we do the usual. I post the photo and you tell us where you think it is. I’ll update the status of the post later this weekend with the true location and folks who got it right.
Update: Pretty much everyone, but one person, suggested that it is in New Orleans. It is in fact one of the shops on the river front in Savannah Georgia, and David got it right. Thanks all for stopping by!
Friday Mystery Photo
I like to photograph fishing piers, not that they are that beautiful or anything, it is that they are usually located on some nice beach with beautiful ocean views. Also they do provide nice leading lines and most of them are unique, hard to find two that are exactly look the same. The bottom line I like to be there and see the sunrise or sunset and as part of that experience take some photos as well.
So any of you recognize this one? It is sunrise, that excludes one ocean out… I’ll update with right answers later this weekend. Happy fishing!
Late Sunday Update: I’m on vacation now and its been hard to get any “computer” time, so very late update. Yes, it is indeed the pier at the Tybee Island in the State of Georgia. Thanks all for casting a vote and to avian101 (not sure about real name) for identify it correctly!
Savannah Alley
Previous photo was from Savannah and I decided to follow up with another photo from there as well. They were taken one year apart on the exact same day. Somehow I happen to be in Savannah, really odd, both times we were taking a break along he coast and Savannah is one of the prime destination, only about 5-6 hours drive from my home.
