somewhere in Paris

It is Friday, and if you are common visitor, you know that it is usually showing some mystery place. But since this is the first Friday of this year, and I really wanted to show this photo for some time, it is not a mystery of any sort. Pretty much anyone should know where it is and what it is.

I really like to take photos with reflections and always look for such opportunities. It does not happen very often, but when it does, I think it produces some kick ass results.

Friday Mystery Photo

So much detail in it. If you like this type of stuff, you can probably spend a lot of time studying all of the little architectural details of this place. And this is only a small part of it.

How about it?

Weekend Update: It seams like it is almost an unanimous consensus that is it Notre Dame in Paris. Can’t fight with popular opinion, yes it is the Notre Dame in Paris France. I did not go inside of it. There were so many people going in and out when I was there so I just decided to walk around it. Maybe next time I’ll go inside.

In Paris

As I was taking this photo couple young girls approached me and asked to provide donation to some type organization. They had some pamphlets and a little paper log where they wanted to me to write my name. I offered to them one dollar, but they wanted at least 20, so I told them to get lost. Over the next 30 minutes or so I saw them bugging many other tourists around there. Anyhow, I arrived in Paris only a few hours ago and that is the only time I saw sun over the next few days, Paris can be a gloomy place, but not on this night.

Arc de Triomphe

I wish I had my little fitbit thingy when I was in Paris, because I walked and walked, have no idea how many miles I put around there in a few days. By the end of the day my feet were killing me and I had to change different shoes from preventing getting blisters, as the shoes I had were not the most comfortable walking shoes for 8-10 hours day, too late to discover.
