Back in November we went to visit our friends at Cape Canaveral, they got a condo there, about five minutes walk from the beach. The day before there was a big storm and it cleared out around lunch time on this day, so by sunset we had some nice cloud spread, with this pretty sunset. According to them, this type of sunset is vary rare, as the skies are usually cloudless or have some overcast. I was lucky to have fifteen or so minutes of this beauty in front of my eyes.

Make a Wish
We were in Florida over the weekend, our friends have apartment on the Cape Canaveral with about 3 minutes walk away from the ocean, which is a perfect ocean retreat. One of the evenings the breeze was very mild and going out into the ocean, perfect for hot air balloons. They had whole box of them so we grabbed a few, lighted them up and let them go, while making wishes. I hope all of them will come true.

House Work
The last two weekends we were power washing outside walls of our house. So much work, get really wet and I’m whooped by the end of each day. Most of it is done. But now we’ll need to do some painting. Lots of it. The joys of owning a house.
Everglades Calmness
This was taken on one of the side roads from the Miami to the Marco Island. We tried to find some drives through the everglades away from the main highways. Didn’t see much of the wildlife, some birds here and there, mostly empty water pools of still water with perfect reflections.
Friday Mystery Photo
Today is the last Friday of September, so I decided to put two photos instead of one. Instead just call it a draw bridge, we can actually see it sort of in action. It is down. Then it is up. Not that it provides any clues of where it is.
Weekend Update: Thanks all for stopping by! Detective skills of kazg10 proved to be excellent as always, she figured it out – it is in St Augustine Florida. And Lori D as well was on the right track.

Cambodia
My daughter is going to be in Cambodia for couple months doing some volunteer work, so I decided to visit her while she is there and explorer a bit of the country. I just booked the ticket for Phnom Penh. Pretty exciting.
Anyone been there and have some recommendations? I got the Lonely Planet book to get most of the information, but something first hand would be cool to know as well.
Key West
Can’t recall if I was on the boat on on the shore when I took this photo. I know that I did sunsets on a few nights, but it has been a while now. Anyhow, I personally like this one, kind of peaceful and relaxing to look at it.
