Did 8.02 mile half jog half walk this morning. Weather is just perfect. Red Rocks to Anemone, drop down to Sunshine Canyon, up to Mount Sanitas summit via Lion's Lair, drop down to Dakota Ridge and back via east side of Dakota Ridge trail.
The Anemone and Lion's Lair were very few people, but the summit was definitely overcrowded and East Ridge overcrowded. Most people do respect and actually take an effort at social distancing. Yet some folks are totally in the mental bubble that they are the only people out there. Like there were couple females coming down East Ridge, which is narrow steap trail. They were just chatting, taking their step at a time discent, not yielding or moving to the right for folks who coming up and more infuriating is completely ignoring people behind them. I was right behind making noises, making my self visible and indicating that I need to pass them, yet complete ignorance. What is fucking wrong with you people? If you decided to go out then be watchful for people around you, trail is not your social chat stroll place. Do your catch up gossip and shit in your kitchen or via your phone, not around bunch of other people. .
