I could tell you her name, but that would give it away. One clue I give you is that I have one or more photos from this place posted on my blog. So if you don’t know where it is and her name, you can find some answers right here on the blog. You guys are great at it, knowing it all and getting it right every time. Like last Friday, most of you quickly figured out that it was inside Hagia Sofia in Istanbul. I would never guess it, if I didn’t have a chance to actually step into it.
some good guesses guys. here is the plate describing the Iron-Fan Princess.
I’d guess at somewhere in Mongolia
very close, it is a bit south of it, Turpan China
I based the guess on desert + asian looking statue
looks like a goddess scuplture, maybe Mongolian goddess of marriage the queen of fire
yes, almost, see the plate describing it
I don’t know where it is, but the image is very beautiful.
The hairstyle looks Chinese….
Superb shot!
Wow. Stunning image.
Looks kinda of like a much nicer pazuzu. Great shots!
Beautiful shot!
Mm, my best guess would be the Flaming Mountains considering the story of the Iron-Fan Princess and the Monkey King. I really think this sculpture is great. It reminds me a lot of the Nickelodeon cartoon Avatar.
yep, it is at Flaming Mountains near Turpan China
omg i’m chinese ! I know this one !!! this is so awesome ! ahah where did u took this ?haha
