We are really enjoying your blog – hope to take a trip along the Eastern seabord and will include Beaufort. Any particular restaurants you’d recommend?
well, can’t recall names of the restourants, but there are only a few of them in the little historic area. You can walk through entire strip in less than 10 minutes. We ate at a few over a few visits and all were good.

There is something about boats, the water, and a sunset that just seems to work so well together. Great job in capturing that. Now add good food, beer, and live music…..oh man!
Beaufort is probably my favorite town in North Carolina. It has a little bit of everything: history, architecture, water, boardwalk, great restaurants… This is a very nice sunset scene. I can almost picture where you were standing when to shot it. Very nice!
I think it was taken off one of the docks near the restourants with little outdoor seating areas or it could be from all the way north near dock where they take canoes and kayaks on to the water.
although I’m not really a fan of sunset shots, I like this one very much! Shame for a little sun flare…

we have very mild winter on the east coast, if not for leafless trees it would almost feel like cool days in the summer (minus humidity)
