So it is finally pretty much grey, cold and not super exciting outdoors. All leaves are gone, colors disappeared and most places probably haven’t seen any snow yet to mix in some colors. But just month or so ago we had very different picture, just like the one we have here.
This is Lin Cove Viaduct, part of the Blue Ridge Parkway. This spot is kind of in the middle of the Viaduct, not the most common or known by many folks, in fact I didn’t know about it till this Fall and I hiked around there at least half dozen times over last ten years. I wonder if any of these bushes bloom in the Spring, I need to go and check it out next April/May. Anyone have any shots of it in the Spring?
Stunningly colorful.
this looks like a paradise (!)
It felt like for sure when we were there
Hi, Dmitrii,
This is my first visit to your site. I may have some spring photos of the area–where is this on the Parkway? The only areas I’ve been able to explore so far are between Front Royal and its southern end, near Sylva, NC. BTW, thanks for liking my recent post, and I really like your work on the Okefenokee shot. I’m looking forward to looking more deeply into your archives. Hope you like more of mine, too!
