Moss Stalactite

What is cool in Savannah?

I’m planning on a short trip to Savannah Georgia. Any recommendations on what to see and photograph there?

Living Moss Stalactite

While hiking around Grandfather Mountain I stepped off the trail to take care of some needs and saw an opening to a short drop of the rock and from there a lot of spongy looking moss. It looked interesting so I decided to check it out and discovered a huge moss hanging off the little rock cliff. It is a living moss, growing down and some day will probably reach the ground beneath it. Nature wonders, pretty cool.

It looks like an elephant flat on his tummy looking down from that rock! :p
