We were on our way down to Key West, about half way into the Florida Keys, maybe around 9AM, when we came to this little nature area with board walk and little beach. On the way back to the car I saw this bird, which probably called Egret, seating on the tree. I took a few pictures from some distance and slowly advanced toward the tree, and at one point saw this interesting opportunity to take a photo with bird blocking the sun – total bird eclipse. Processing this photo was not the easiest thing, I tried Photomatix and it produced pretty bad results. Ended up using PS5 HDR merge to get it look most natural, the way I remember it.
