It is not easy to take sunset photos with clear sky, especially against the sun. We were on one of the highest peaks in NC mountains witnessing sunset and I took a lot of pictures. Most of them just didn’t come out to my liking. granted the sky was clear, so there were no drama up there, the mountains are kind of smoky and not that spectacular. So I was trying to find different angles and compositions that would provide some type of light effect. After some experimenting the best I found was to be behind this pine tree. It really was very nice on the naked eye with sun illuminating it and sparkle it like a Christmas tree. I took probably about couple dozen photos of this tree from different angles and with sun picking out more or less. Most just didn’t look any good in post processing. This one was one of the best from the bunch.
